Key Duties

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT machinery to generate cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy, aiding in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.

  • Positioning patients for CT imaging, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective gear.
  • Adjusting equipment settings and monitoring both the machinery and the patient throughout the procedure.
  • Assisting radiologists during imaging processes, including starting IVs and administering contrast as needed.
  • Evaluating the quality of CT images and ensuring proper sequencing and labeling.
  • Scheduling patient appointments and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining a safe and effective work environment focused on patient care.
