We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in the finance industry. This unique position combines the healthcare and finance sectors, providing a stimulating and challenging environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare and a keen interest in finance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant looking to apply their skills in an unconventional setting. Our ideal candidate will have a certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach.
As a Permanent Medical Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical assistance by performing routine tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients for examinations, administering medication under the direction of a physician, and maintaining patient records.
- Assisting in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating patient referrals.
- Supporting the finance team by maintaining and updating financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with budget preparation.
- Collaborating with the finance team to understand healthcare costs and contribute to financial planning and cost management.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on best practices in both the healthcare and finance industries.
