The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to enhance production efficiency while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Plan, coordinate, and engage in preventive maintenance activities.
- Set priorities for machine repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery within designated manufacturing areas.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Production, Quality, Engineering, Support).
- Implement Lockout/Tagout procedures during equipment maintenance.
- Ensure timely technical progression to meet job expectations.
- Recognize the effects of maintenance activities on quality, consistency, environmental impact, and productivity.
- Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance that directly influence tire quality and uniformity.
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
- One or more of the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a relevant maintenance role.
- Associate's degree related to the maintenance field.
- Journeyman's certification in the relevant trade.
- Military experience with technical training pertinent to the position.
- Successful completion of an entry-level skills assessment in the relevant craft.
- Ability to pass a company physical examination, including a hair drug screening.
- Starting pay at Level 1: $39.70; Level 2 pay after 120 days: $41.27 for qualified Journeymen, plus an additional $1.25 for shift differentials.
- All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
- Overtime opportunities available.

- Eligibility to join the Emergency Response Team with Firefighter Credentials.
