We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team at The Meadows of Delphos. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents and guests.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and nutritional guidelines
- Adjust recipes as needed to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food presentation
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illness and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or experience preferred
- 1 year of experience in the food service industry; preferably in a long-term care setting
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
