Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. This is a key role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Maintain Guest Rooms: Ensure that all guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, and that all amenities are in good working order.
- Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Engage with guests warmly and provide a welcoming and comfortable environment, encouraging guests to become at ease.
- Manage Guest Requests: Manage all requests from guests while in their room, practice anticipatory service throughout all interactions, and ensure that all requests are met promptly and efficiently.
- Work with Other Departments: Work closely and communicate effectively with all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, activities, and engineering, to ensure that the entire guest experience is exceptional and effortless.
- Maintain Room Number Confidentiality and Key Control: Ensure that room numbers are kept confidential and that key control procedures are followed at all times.
- Perform Other Reasonable Requests: Perform any other duties that fall within the broad spirit, scope, and purpose of this job description and which are commensurate with the role.
- Prior Luxury Hotel or Equivalent Level Guest Service Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or equivalent level guest service environment is required.
- Experience in Luxury Setting in Concierge, Front Office or Food & Beverage Operations: Experience in a luxury setting in concierge, front office, or food and beverage operations is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English: Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
- Ability to Perform Job Functions with Attention to Detail, Speed, and Accuracy: The ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy under pressure of tense or confrontational situations is essential.
