We are in search of a dependable and meticulous Quality Control Manager with a robust technical foundation in civil engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, particularly in commercial land development initiatives. This role requires an individual who can effectively oversee quality assurance processes, mentor team members, and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent engineering calculations to verify the precision and dependability of project deliverables.
  • Employ AutoCAD and/or Civil3D to produce construction drawings and technical specifications for various projects.
  • Convert conceptual designs into detailed construction documents while complying with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Thoroughly research and evaluate project elements, ensuring all critical aspects are addressed.
  • Support project teams on multiple client assignments, enhancing communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Coordinate with local authorities as necessary, ensuring adherence to jurisdictional standards and requirements.
  • Oversee, coach, and guide staff, nurturing a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement in design practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, with an emphasis on commercial land development.
  • At least four years of experience in a project management capacity.
  • Capability to manage projects of varying sizes while adhering to deadlines.
  • Expertise in civil engineering and land development CAD drafting using Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with local jurisdictional requirements is advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
