Pharmacy Technician Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with daily operations, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of expired or damaged products.
- Process manual claims for third-party prescription services and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
- Lead pharmacy department inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Assist in analyzing and improving pharmacy financial, customer service, and inventory performance data.
- Support the execution of the Pickup program and assist with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy department.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications).
- Prefer basic level PC skills (e.g., starting and shutting down the computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and/or accessing information online).
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
