We are seeking a dedicated and Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to become a vital part of our faculty leadership team. This role involves overseeing residents at our Outpatient Ambulatory Clinic, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday, with a variable schedule.
- Serve as backup call for residents.
2. **Administrative Oversight:**
- Engage in program administration, including resident coaching and support activities.
- Participate in scholarship, curriculum development, and faculty development initiatives.
3. **Teaching and Supervision:**
- Provide half-time supervision of residents during outpatient clinic sessions.
- Teach residents about relevant disease states, focusing on pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
4. **Evaluation and Feedback:**
- Conduct evaluations and provide constructive feedback to residents.
- Attend program meetings, including conferences and case presentations.
5. **Support Scholarly Activities:**
- Foster an environment that encourages resident participation in innovation and process improvement.
6. **Curriculum Development:**
- Review and develop curriculum and policies related to resident training.
7. **Outpatient Procedures:**
- Supervise and teach essential outpatient procedures required for residents to qualify for certification.
