Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Support Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Collect co-payments, verify insurance information, and complete patient registration.
  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including preparing charts, reports, and other documents.
  • Check in and check out patients, verify insurances, and ensure accurate and timely completion of patient paperwork.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
  • One year of work experience in a medical office or related field required; on-the-job training provided for those without prior experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
