Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and Implement Investment Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive investment strategy that considers capital and regulatory regimes, liquidity, tax, and other implications.
- Prepare Investment Results and Strategy Proposals: Create support materials and analysis to present investment results and strategy proposals to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate in Steering Group's Asset Liability Management (ALM): Work closely with the ALM team to consider implications across various accounting bases, including local statutory, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Craft and Update Legal Entity Investment Guidelines: Develop and maintain investment guidelines for approval by the Local CFO and the Board of Directors.
- Supervise Legal Entity Investment Activity: Monitor and oversee investment activity, ensuring alignment with the Group and Business Unit strategies.
- Support Asset Class Specific Investment Mandates: Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to define investment benchmarks, return objectives, and risk limits.
The Investment Steering team plays a vital role in managing the assets of Swiss Re. As a member of this team, you will work closely with our global team and other stakeholders to drive investment decisions and strategies.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in investment analysis and strategy. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Investment Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in investment analysis and strategy, with a strong understanding of major asset classes, investment types, and risk management models.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the needs of our clients and regulatory requirements.
We offer a competitive salary range of $92,000 to $144,000 for this position, depending on location and experience. At Swiss Re, we take a total compensation approach, considering all components of compensation in our decision-making process.
