Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role, with knowledge of animal care, behavior, handling, and animal husbandry. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Triage pets as they arrive at the clinic, taking vital signs and acquiring blood samples as needed.
  • Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients.
  • Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery, administering medications as prescribed.
  • Keep accurate patient records and schedule appointments for follow-up care.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of animal care, behavior, handling, and animal husbandry.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment.
  • Patience and a love for animals.
  • Documentation skills and the ability to analyze information.
  • Clinical skills and the ability to use medical technologies.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Work Environment
