Role Summary:

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing and facility operations through effective execution of maintenance tasks. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including servicing, repairing, and operating CNC and conventional machine tools.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and devise repair strategies for conventional manufacturing equipment, including mills, lathes, and drill presses.
  • Assess and maintain CNC manufacturing equipment across various models and controls.
  • Oversee a Preventative Maintenance Program to uphold safety compliance within the facility.
  • Collaborate on Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives, conducting internal audits and formulating action plans.
  • Support manufacturing schedules by coordinating major repairs around operational demands.
  • Identify and procure replacement parts for manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Manage and supervise external service providers when necessary.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or machine repair, encompassing both electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with CNC machinery is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with OSHA compliance and safety regulations.
