As a Security Officer with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to enforce policies and procedures, patrol facility buildings and grounds, and respond to emergencies and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment
  • Patrol facility buildings and grounds to prevent and detect security breaches
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, including fires, medical emergencies, and security breaches
  • Conduct investigations and prepare incident reports
  • Collaborate with staff and management to resolve security-related issues
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • College or vocational education in a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare security, contract security, or law enforcement is highly preferred
  • Basic certification by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety is preferred within one year of hire
