About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hockey Strength Coach to join our team at D1 Training - 45 Sports. As a Hockey Strength Coach, you will be responsible for developing and providing customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups, implementing training programs for youth small groups and teams, and ensuring safe and effective use of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups
  • Implement training programs for youth small groups and teams as assigned
  • Ensure safe and effective use of equipment
  • Motivate and build positive relationships with clients and facility members
  • Participate in ongoing personal training growth opportunities and programs
  • Obtain and maintain required certificates and licenses
Requirements
  • CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ISSA, or CPT certification required
  • Athletic/Hockey Background
  • 1+ year of coaching experience
  • Believes they can be the best coach on staff
  • Extensive knowledge of Strength & Conditioning
  • Ability to program for 1 on 1 clients
  • Positive and energetic personality with a can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field)
  • Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
  • Experience in group, 1:1, small group, and team training settings
