Home Health Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and quality of life.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' daily living and work-related skills, developing tailored therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests, collaborating with physicians to evaluate patient function.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to develop and revise treatment plans, providing high-quality care that meets individual patient needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, instruction, and education to patients and families, promoting optimal health outcomes.
  • Review and expand retraining programs as needed, ensuring consistency with patient goals and rehabilitation program guidelines.
  • Consult with other vocational team members to develop vocationally oriented plans, addressing patients' unique needs and capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records of patient progress and care observations.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
  • A minimum of six months of occupational therapy experience preferred.
  • Current and unrestricted OT licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,200 - $106,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k) retirement savings plan, employee assistance program, business travel and accident insurance.
