Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team at Lombardo Funeral Home in Buffalo, NY. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to families during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with client families to understand their needs and preferences for memorial services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of necessary documents and paperwork.
  • Conduct and attend memorial services with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of professionalism and service delivery.
  • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote the funeral home's services and build relationships with local organizations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Funeral Director/Embalmer.
  • Valid Funeral Director/Embalmer License and/or ability to obtain licenses or application by endorsement in the state where business is located.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
