Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our team at Warren Henry Automotive Group. As a key member of our dealership accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely title processing, which is essential for legal and financial compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Process title work, including retail, wholesale, and dealer trades, using our DMS CDK system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process out-of-state title work using our DLR 50 system and follow up with requirements to complete the transaction.
  • Have knowledge of export processing and requirements.
  • Verify and maintain the accuracy of vehicle inventory, titles, and registration documents.
  • Follow up with vehicle payoffs and secure titles in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly aging reports with related notes and assist on monthly asset meetings.
  • Review accounting schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in costing wholesales, fleet, and dealer trade.
  • Assist in posting of manufacturer invoices and credit memos daily.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Perform other special projects as requested.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Accounting or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in Automotive Accounting for three to five years may be substituted for Associate degree requirements.
  • Experience with dealership accounting functions is a plus.
  • Experience in a tag and title is required.
  • Proficient in ADP/CDK Drive XL DMS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
  • Professional personal appearance.
