About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model safe behavior at all times and actively participate in safety improvement activities.
  • Complete all formal and on-the-job training to develop technical expertise in electrical systems, including vision systems, PLC and digital drive systems, process controls, and electrical inspection.
  • Read and use electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
  • Remove, repair, and install instruments, DCS components, and related equipment.
  • Set up and operate test equipment associated with the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of industrial process control systems.
  • Identify patterns of failures and design out failures to improve system reliability.
  • Support the planning and execution of daily, weekly, and shutdown activities.
  • Participate in cost-effective decision making and collaborate with the team to provide excellent service to the Paris plant.

Requirements
  • Be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have an associate degree in Electromechanical Technology (electrical focus), Electronics, Industrial Electricity, Instrumentation, or equivalent degree, or Military MOS.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills.
  • Pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug and background screening.
  • Pass a post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
