We are seeking a skilled Guitar Technician to join our team at Guitar Center. As a key member of our repair team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship for customer-owned instruments.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of guitar repair techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for maintaining store-owned gear, completing warranty repair work, and assisting customers with their musical instrument needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be knowledgeable about various types of guitars, and have a passion for music. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.

We offer a competitive salary range of $14.42 - $27.44 per hour, plus commission depending on background and experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer-owned instruments
  • Maintain store-owned equipment, including guitars, amplifiers, and other musical instruments
  • Complete warranty repair work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of guitar repair techniques and methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of various types of guitars and musical instruments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or music industry setting
