We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for overseeing the set-up and clean-up of food preparation for all banquet functions, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise food and beverage service to ensure consistency and quality throughout the banquet.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing all banquet functions, including set-up and clean-up.
- Supervise banquet rooms and ensure they are prepared for events.
- Greet clients and respond to their requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- 2 years of prior banquet department or ala carte experience required.
- Additional prior food service experience preferred.
- RAMP certification within 30 days of hire.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
