Job Responsibilities- Implement curricula and activities to meet our high academic standards and promote student learning.
- Analyze assessments to inform and differentiate instructional practices, ensuring students receive targeted support.
- Create a positive, structured learning environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes our core values.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive community.
- Commit to ongoing professional growth and development, participating in training and coaching opportunities to enhance instructional practices.
- Strong applicants will possess a relentless drive to improve student outcomes, an unwavering commitment to urban youth, and a belief in Uncommon's core values and educational philosophy.
- Mastery of relevant academic subjects and a passion for working with K-12 students.
- Evidence of self-motivation, a willingness to be a team player, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- A background in education is not required, but strong candidates should demonstrate a demonstrated passion for working with K-12 students and prior experience working in schools and/or urban communities is preferred.
- Competitive compensation package, including a starting salary range of $50,000 to $64,700 in New York.
