We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Industrial Sports Medicine Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting the well-being of employees within industrial settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and preventing workplace injuries.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide on-site injury care and symptom management for both work-related and non-work-related discomfort, adhering to established client protocols.
- Educate workers on crucial aspects of ergonomics, posture, musculoskeletal system assessments, fitness for job performance, and first aid/care for musculoskeletal injuries.
- Deliver comprehensive ergonomic services, including office assessments, job evaluations, informative classes, and collaborative support for Safety Team projects related to ergonomics.
- Maintain meticulous records through documentation, report writing, presentation development, and utilization of web-based applications.
- Successful completion of a four-year academic program in a specialized field such as Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related health science discipline. Preferred accreditation by CAATE or certification by the NATA BOC.
- Alternatively, an Associate's degree with a professional clinical degree in rehabilitation (PTA/OT).
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Indiana Driver's License, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in computer skills, documentation, and report writing.
- Current CPR Certification or the ability to obtain certification by the hire date.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
