Disassembly Technician

The Disassembly Technician will be responsible for processing electronic recycling materials at client sites across the country. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to disassemble electronic equipment
• Use electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system
• Operate equipment that destroys hard drives and computer tapes
• Assist in the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse
• Handle the delivery and shipping of a multitude of goods
• Operate a pallet jack including building and maneuvering boxes on pallets
• Use an industrial scale to weigh and label volumes of scrap material
• Maintain the physical security protocols we have in place and ensures others follow said protocols
• Maintain the operating condition of all warehouse tools and machinery used to execute primary functions

Requirements

• One to two years related experience and/or training; ability to operate a baler machine is a plus
• Ability to travel at least up to one week each month
• Must be able to lift heavy weight and stand for long periods of time

Salary: $17.00/hr; additional increase for select travel jobs.
