YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT:
As a Forklift Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
● Conducting thorough repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of forklifts and related machinery, primarily focusing on brands like Raymond.
● Troubleshooting and repairing electric forklifts, utility vehicles, pallet jacks, diesel and gasoline-powered forklifts, and electric man lifts.
● Demonstrating strong mechanical skills to work independently and effectively without direct supervision.
● Planning, prioritizing, and executing inspections and repairs on forklifts and related equipment, determining when major components require repair, rebuilding, or replacement.
● Maintaining the forklift fleet and training vehicles, while providing detailed estimates on repair costs and labor time.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
● Education: High School Diploma or GED.
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
● Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of forklift operating systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
● Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
● Skills: Proficiency in welding simple components, operating forklifts, power tools, wrenches, diagnostic equipment, and jacks.
● Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
