Role Summary:
As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, guiding your team through various construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of your crew's work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all tasks typically assigned to a Journeyman Lineman.
- Manage crew operations and equipment utilization effectively.
- Engage with team members, clients, and the public in a professional and respectful manner.
- Uphold Centuri's safety and performance standards consistently.
- Maintain accurate records of time and materials for assigned projects.
- Execute additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical services field is essential.
- OSHA Competent Person Certification is preferred.
- Possession of a CDL is strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain a CDL permit within a specified timeframe.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to interpret plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with building codes.
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure situations.
- A strong sense of accountability and commitment to quality work with safety as a priority.
Work Environment:
This role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Safety instructions are provided in English, and fluency is required. Physical demands include lifting, standing, climbing, and other activities typical of construction work.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screenings and background checks.
- Valid US work authorization documentation.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license are required.
- Completion of a medical fit-for-duty assessment.
