Key Responsibilities

The UAT Tester will be responsible for the following:

  1. Developing Test Documentation: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for User Acceptance Testing.
  2. Reviewing Testing Materials: Evaluate and approve all relevant testing documentation.
  3. Conducting User Acceptance Testing: Execute UAT in line with approved plans and investigate any unexpected outcomes.
  4. Generating Test Data: Prepare necessary test data for UAT execution.
  5. Executing Test Scripts: Carry out UAT scripts and batch jobs as required.
  6. Integration Testing: Perform application interface and integration testing.
  7. Portal Testing: Assess functionality, usability, design, and basic security of the citizen portal.
  8. Mobile Application Testing: Conduct web application testing across various mobile devices and browsers.
  9. Compliance Testing: Execute 508 compliance testing using appropriate tools.
  10. SQL Query Management: Create, update, and execute UAT SQL queries for reporting purposes.
  11. Traceability Matrix Updates: Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  12. Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression libraries.
  13. Documenting Results: Record all test outcomes in the designated format.
  14. Defect Logging: Log all identified defects during UAT.
  15. Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on UAT progress for ongoing releases.
  16. Deployment Participation: Engage in deployments to conduct User Acceptance Testing, which may require after-hours work.
  17. Meeting Participation: Attend all scheduled and ad hoc meetings as necessary.
  18. Policy Interpretation: Understand and interpret state and federal policies related to testing activities.
  19. Project Planning: Deliver and maintain an agreed-upon UAT project plan, including resources and training schedules.

Fluency in Spanish is a requirement for this position.
