Compensation: $19-$21 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in patient areas, including trash disposal, restroom sanitation, mopping, and sweeping.
• Perform cleaning tasks in both elevated and low locations.
• Ensure administrative offices are tidy by wiping surfaces, removing trash, and performing sweeping and mopping duties.
• Keep hallways clean through sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfection, along with other assigned tasks.
• Handle soiled linens by removing them and replacing them with fresh ones.
• Manage the collection, storage, and transportation of biohazardous materials.
• Prepare cleaning supply carts for the shift.
• Ensure the supply closet is adequately stocked.
• May involve cleaning bodily fluids and other materials typically encountered in a healthcare setting.
• Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Engage with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English, both spoken and understood.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds consistently.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a hospital environment.
• Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services is preferred.
