We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our medical team at Deaconess. This role is ideal for an individual who wants to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a dynamic and growing health care environment.

About the Role:

  • This position involves providing direct or indirect patient care, under the supervision of a physician, based on their scope of training.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as provide preventive care services.

Requirements:

  • A graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • Experience is preferred but not required.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • A current certification/license from one of the following organizations is required: American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologist, National Health career Association, National Center for Competency Testing, National Association for Health Professionals, American Allied Health, or American Medical Certification Association.
  • A valid LPN or RN license in the state of employment is also required.
  • CPR provider certification is mandatory.
