IT Director

Job Summary:

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for leading the IT department at Cibola General Hospital. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, establishing policies and procedures, and directing staff to ensure the effective use of technology in support of hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies to support hospital goals and objectives
• Manage and maintain hospital systems, including hardware, software, and networks
• Supervise and train IT staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure effective use of technology
• Develop and manage IT budgets and ensure that IT operations are within budget
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
