Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch emergency service personnel, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls using computerized equipment.">
  • Operate, monitor, and answer multiple radio frequencies for Police, Fire Department, EMS, and other agencies, providing real-time updates to responders.">
  • Research and retrieve information related to warrants, addresses, name records, phone records, and vehicle records using a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.">
  • Enter, clear, or cancel wanted persons, drivers license, criminal history, vehicle, gun, and stolen article records in the national criminal database.">
  • Provide emergency medical prearrival instructions to callers and patients, ensuring timely and effective response to emergencies.">
  • Maintain and update call logs, tracking incidents and responses with precision.">
  • Perform related duties as required.">

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training in emergency communications preferred.">
  • One to two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a public safety setting.">
  • Certification in CJIS, NCIC, 911, and Emergency Medical Dispatch required; CPR certification also essential.">
  • Skill in computer-aided dispatch systems, radio communication equipment, and crisis management.">
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.">
  • Demonstrated commitment to public service, teamwork, and continuous learning.">
