Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Demonstrates exemplary communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Understands, follows, and enforces SEP's to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Deliverable Management: Ensures proper sign-off on all deliverables and spot checks for proper checking.
  • Project Scheduling: Ensures deliverables are issued on schedule and prepares change order requests as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Estimation and Coordination: Coordinates change order estimates at the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Meeting Management: Reviews or creates meeting minutes from project meetings and is responsible for project status reports.
  • Project Administration: Manages project action item lists, RFI lists, close-out punch lists, and coordinates MOC efforts.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Facilitates internal and external project meetings, develops/adjusts project support team level work flow processes, and facilitates multi-disciplinary communication.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolves project audit deficiencies and administers the development and issuance of project specs.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolves day-to-day project issues/emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or higher) from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Experience: 7+ years of field experience, preferably in the offshore oil and gas industry or onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
  • Project Management: Experience as the lead engineer on medium and large multi-discipline projects, with PMP certification and PE license recommended.
  • Skills: Basic understanding of multi-discipline deliverables, procurement, and construction activities, with excellent communication and organizational skills, and strong team leadership capabilities.
