Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations at La Forchetta Lounge, a 3-generation family-owned business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in culinary arts and be passionate about food and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient kitchen management.
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders to maintain inventory levels and optimize costs.
  • Conduct regular checks on the freshness and quality of ingredients to guarantee exceptional taste and presentation.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and standardize recipes and plate presentations.
  • Work closely with the team to create a memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts or related fields, with a passion for food and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cost and labor systems, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.

Based on industry standards and local market conditions, we estimate this role comes with an annual salary range of $70,000 - $90,000.
