Job Summary

The Physical Therapist is a key member of our healthcare team, providing skilled physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Physical Therapist with Search One Inc., you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, assessing their needs and developing personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, including Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) assessments, and develop treatment plans in consultation with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Client Care and Education: Teach, supervise, and counsel clients and their families on physical therapy programs, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and are empowered to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including Home Health Aides, to develop and implement comprehensive client care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent education, licensed to practice as a PT in the State of Florida, and current BLS Certification.
  • Experience and Skills: At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in home healthcare and electronic medical records. Excellent observational, judgment, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to physically tolerate standing, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting, meeting all agency regulations.
