Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an elementary school setting in Stockton, CA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Therapy: Assess students for possible speech and language needs and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address these needs.
  • Individualized Education Plans: Develop individualized education plans for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns and collaborate with them to develop strategies to support students.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports to parents on their child's progress.
  • Caseload Management: Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Resource Development: Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • California SLP License: Must hold a valid California SLP license issued by the California Board of Speech and Hearing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Solid Organization Skills: Demonstrate solid organization skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Up-to-Date Knowledge: Possess up-to-date knowledge of California Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and Accountability: Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions and responsibilities.
