Metalsmith Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Metalsmith Specialist to join our team at Northwind Mechanical.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints, package units, split systems, refrigerant piping, condensation piping, and low-voltage wiring.

In addition, they will be proficient in using installation hand tools and have a keen eye for detail.

As a key member of our team, you will work on various commercial projects throughout the country.

We offer competitive compensation packages that include an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Install sheet metal and flexible ducts in commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installations
• Install package units and split systems with precision
• Pipe refrigerant and condensation systems correctly
• Wire low-voltage systems efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• 2+ years of experience in sheet metal and HVAC installation
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Familiarity with package units, split systems, and refrigerant piping
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and navigate job sites
