This is a great opportunity to work in an urban metro environment with a wide scope of practice, providing medical treatment to the ill and injured, and managing their care during transport. You'll be part of a team that offers a schedule affording work-life balance, with seven 12-hour shifts every two weeks.



Our Paramedic Specialists are responsible for responding to medical emergencies, assessing illnesses and injuries, and administering basic to advanced emergency rescue and paramedical care. They provide medical treatment to the ill and injured, manage their care during transport, and prepare patients for transport via ambulance to the hospital.



As a Paramedic Specialist at Hall Ambulance, you'll have the opportunity to guide and support EMTs in the application of appropriate EMS techniques, operate emergency vehicles and equipment to care and transport patients effectively, and complete patient records and transfer of information to healthcare providers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a strong understanding of paramedical care, including the ability to administer first-aid treatment and life-support care to sick or injured persons, assess the nature and extent of illness or injury, and prioritize medical treatment procedures. You'll also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, and maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.

Our Paramedic Specialists are required to have a National or State Paramedic License, a valid driver license with an insurable record, be at least 20 years old, and have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. They must also be able to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards, and have computer competency including understanding of reporting programs and ability to complete patient records.
