About the Role:

At UT Health Tyler, we're seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages using various imaging modalities.
  • Subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Qualified second-year student from an allied Health Echocardiography program.
  • Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards.
  • CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire date.
  • Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studies.
  • One (1) year of patient care experience.
  • One (1) year of experience performing Echocardiography studies.
