Job Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to provide essential support during invasive cardiac procedures in the vibrant city of Tucson, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists with a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Scrubbing and monitoring during cath lab procedures
  • Assisting with angiograms, PCI, complex cases, and more
  • Utilizing sterile technique and demonstrating expertise in cath lab procedures
  • Monitoring patient vitals and documenting procedures on MacLab
  • Ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment function before procedures
  • Closely monitoring patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures
  • Upholding strict infection control protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Restocking cath lab rooms with necessary supplies
Requirements
  • ARRT certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Experience with invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, PCI, and complex cases
  • Proficiency with MacLab and knowledge of cath lab products
