This Digital Engineering Architect position plays a critical role in overseeing the design and architecture of our digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business area data strategies. The successful candidate will partner with Centers of Excellence Directors and Chief Engineers to project-manage the integration of Digital Engineering infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of digital engineering strategies and roadmaps to advance our customers' mission-critical needs.

  • Assessing current state tools and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Mature engineering capabilities to reduce defects, rework, and improve overall quality.

  • Collaborating with IT on data migration to new tools and updates to enterprise platform tools.

  • Developing metrics to demonstrate improved abilities for rapid development and delivery of work products in the value stream.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.

  • Minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree and 7 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience in heavy exposure and implementation of modern technology, architecture, and automation patterns of engineering capabilities.

  • Experience in developing methods in systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and data strategies.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in training development & delivery.

  • Experience in digital engineering integration.

  • Experience in process transformation and rationalization.

  • Experience with using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
