Job Summary

As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive, diverse, and collaborative culture by helping us build and maintain a safe and effective work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager with department planning activities, including developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct incident investigations and audits to identify and eliminate or minimize the chances of preventable work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Function as an expert resource for consistent implementation of company health and safety standards and programs.
  • Respond to and report emergency situations, ensuring the safety of employees and the public.
  • Manage compliance of annual safety trainings, ensuring all employees receive necessary training and certifications.
  • Perform Risk Assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Track and record data for safety-related activities, including injuries, near-miss incidents, and other safety metrics.
  • Enforce all company policies and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Communicate safety issues and concerns to departmental leadership in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging with individuals at various organizational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of all OSHA, federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to workplace health and safety.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel, with reasonable prior notice, as required (domestic and/or international).
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing health and safety personnel.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or related Designation.
  • Bilingual (English and Korean).
