We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory testing results to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure accurate and timely results
- Assume responsibility for the department in the absence of the supervisor
- Complete all required records and documentation pertaining to patient results
- Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets
- Correlate and interpret patient results, using good judgment and independent thinking
- 2-year/Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- 4-year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist
- State of Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview process
- Technologist License in one or more clinical specialty areas (Generalist highly preferred)
