We are seeking a highly skilled Biomechanical Engineer to join our team at Robson Forensic, a national leader in expert witness consulting.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineering Expert to provide technical expertise in investigating incidents involving claimed injuries or fatalities. As a key member of our team, you will apply scientific and engineering principles to analyze complex data, prepare reports, and provide testimony.

Your areas of investigation may include:

  • Impact and injury biomechanics/orthopedic biomechanics applied to events such as vehicle collisions, sports and recreation, occupation, assaults, falls, etc.
  • Evaluation of medical device failures

You will work closely with our experts from various fields, including engineering, architecture, science, and specialty disciplines. Our dynamic working environment blends collaboration and autonomy, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD degree in an engineering discipline
  • B.S. in Engineering from an ABET accredited University
  • 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in bioengineering/biomechanics
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a comprehensive team
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
