As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases. Your expertise will be essential in performing screening procedures, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining procedure quality control.
Responsibilities:- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for therapeutic and diagnostic studies.
- Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
- Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
- State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI).
