Job Summary:
The selected candidate will join the faculty at the OSU College of Medicine, focusing on the fields of biochemistry and microbiology. The role encompasses responsibilities in teaching, research, and community service.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
- Deliver engaging instruction across various subjects within the osteopathic medical curriculum and graduate programs in biomedical sciences.
- Develop and present contemporary and accurate educational content through lectures, interactive learning sessions, and online platforms.
- Contribute to curriculum design and the creation of educational modules related to microbiology and biochemistry.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in course management and administration, including serving as co-coordinator when necessary.
Research:
- Engage in scholarly activities, which may include:
- Conducting independent research and seeking funding through grants.
- Publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Presenting at professional conferences and contributing to board reviews.
