We're seeking an experienced Principal Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our growing software team responsible for the core set of software libraries and device drivers. This role will focus on architecting software components that efficiently manage and process large amounts of data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C/C++ development, Linux user space applications, and experience working with low-level hardware peripherals and interfaces. Additionally, they should have a general understanding of RF or basic signal processing concepts.
In this role, you'll lead the architecture and design of new software products and features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in strategic planning for the engineering department. You'll also leverage prior experience developing applications on embedded and server-class Linux systems using tools like GCC, GDB, make/cmake, docker, Jenkins, and rpm/deb packaging.
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000-$170,000 per year, flexible work hours, generous vacation policy, paid five-week sabbatical every five years, 401(k) matching, health insurance, and more.
