Our center performs over 450 procedures a month, offering a wide range of services including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, colon & rectal, esophageal disease, ophthalmology, and pathology.

Salary Information

The estimated hourly wage for this position ranges from $26.00 to $39.01 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols. Your duties will include:

  • Assembling necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards
  • Testing and monitoring equipment for proper working condition
  • Documenting records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies/procedures
  • Confirming that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
  • Communicating patient information to other staff responsible for their care
  • Performing required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of radiology
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT)
  • BLS certification
