Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at American Dream. As a Painter, you will be responsible for performing high-quality painting and wallcovering services throughout our facility, ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests and employees.

• Perform responsive, accurate, and efficient painting and wallcovering work in our facility and common areas.
• Preserve the interior and exterior upkeep of painted areas, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Perform commercial painting and wallcovering as scheduled, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
• Restore painted areas to new-like conditions, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
• Provide custom painting and wallcovering services as contracted by residents, meeting their specific needs and expectations.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.

• Graduate of a trade or vocational school program in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a building maintenance position is required.
• Knowledge of ceramic tile repair and installation is helpful.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts up to 35 feet is a must.
• Able to safely operate power and hand tools is essential.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Perform repetitive motion occasionally (25% of time).
• Stand and move frequently (90% of time).
• Reach at chest level occasionally (25% of time).
• Reach above or below shoulder level occasionally (25% of time).
• Kneel and bend occasionally (25% of time).
• Stoop/Squat occasionally (20% of time).
• Lift/carry up to 10 pounds occasionally (25% of time).
• Lift/carry up to 75 pounds infrequently (5% of time).
• Push/pull occasionally (45% of time).
• Able to work at heights between 10 to 35 feet infrequently (10% of time).
