At Houston Methodist, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, as well as stress tests and other advanced procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac imaging and technology
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
  • 3+ years of experience as a cardiac sonographer
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
