Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing and Field Operations Manager to join our team at Fluence Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the build and commissioning of our products, working closely with our CTO and VP of Technology to meet accelerating demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage field engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers
  • Collaborate with the product engineering team to plan and execute builds, installations, and startups with customers
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational objectives to drive business growth
  • Manage the manufacture of products, including supply chain management, final assembly, and quality testing
  • Lead the field engineering team in the execution of builds, installations, and startups with customers, ensuring that they work closely with the product engineering team to provide feedback on system performance
  • Interface with customers to ensure that systems are operating as expected, including regular communications and service events
  • Manage contract renewals and develop a system for managing all service agreements
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in an operations position, including management roles, preferably in the petrochemical or related industrial applications
  • B.S. in mechanical engineering, electrical, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a closely related technical discipline
  • Contract manufacturing/supply chain management experience
  • Cost and schedule management
  • Project planning and management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a team and external stakeholders and customers
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team in a small and growing company
