Centers Adult Day Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at our Adult Day Care facility in Airmont, NY.
We offer a competitive salary and a $500 Sign-On bonus.
Job Summary:As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our adult clients, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and positioning. You will also engage clients in recreational activities, provide emotional support, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in recreational activities, such as games, arts, and crafts.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring clients receive nutritious meals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and adhering to Centers Adult Day Care policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Document care provided and report any changes in clients' condition to the nursing staff, ensuring timely interventions.
- Help with toileting and continence care, promoting clients' dignity and comfort.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist with transportation to and from the facility, if needed, ensuring clients' safety and convenience.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Must be able to work as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional care.
- Successful completion of a CNA program and current NY State Certification.
- In good standing with State Registry, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Russian speaking preferred, but not required.
